SMOKE FACTORY Capt. D

Category: fog / wind

The Smoke Factory Captain D. Case feels at home in the rock’n’roll business on many stages around the world.

With 1300 watt fog power it is possible to record on common stage sizes.

Installed in a tried-and-tested Amptown Touringcase, the device is set up within just a few seconds after removing the case lid. The 5 litre canister of fog fluid is located under the machine in the case and can be transported connected to the device in the case.
Amptown finished since the first Captain D. version in 2000 the Cases. They are characterised by an extremely high load capacity and are ideal for the hard touring daily routine with 200+ jobs per year.

Due to the extremely efficient use of the available energy, the fog output is considerably higher than with many comparable devices from the Far East.

Equipped as standard with 5-pin DMX512 inputs/outputs and an analog 3-pin connection, it can be controlled via DMX, radio remote control or cable remote control.

Of course, the Captain D. Case, like almost all Smoke Factory fog machines, can also be operated in stand-alone mode or with the integrated timer. In stand-alone operation, the fogging process is started by pressing the Enter key once. If this is not actuated repeatedly, the machine will fog until the limit temperature is reached.

The permanent temperature control on the microprocessors guarantees a correct evaporation temperature at all times. This ensures that no harmful substances are produced by evaporation that is too hot or that the unit “spits” unevaporated fluid.

Like all Smoke Factory devices, the Captain D. has a quick release system that allows the canister to be changed within seconds.
